Skinny Cow Love!

Happy Friday Everyone! It took long enough for the weekend to get here but I am just happy that it finally made it. I actually have a pretty laid back weekend coming up. Tomorrow, Alabama plays South Carolina…

This will be another tough game because they are pretty good and it’s in South Carolina. I think if we do well in this game and win…it says a lot about our team this year and I will feel even more confident going into the rest of the season but…we have to win first. Lol…I know talk like I’m on the team but I certainly feel like I am sometimes. I plan on watching football and just relaxing most of the day tomorrow. I will exercise of course but other than that…there won’t be too much activity. I will weigh tomorrow morning. I am hoping to see a loss…even if it’s just a slight one…I’d be happy…I’ve been good this week so unless Savannah decides to suddenly catch up with me, I should be good. Sunday, I plan on cleaning a bit but my main plan is to meet Jordan in Bessemer so we can eat lunch and go see a movie! I am excited about the movie and getting to go see him but there is business to attend to as well. Jordan and I have yet to decide what we are going to be for Halloween. We dress up every year and usually, there is a theme but this year, we aren’t sure. I love Halloween…if I’m being honest, it’s probably my favorite holiday. I love to dress up and really get into making the costume. I usually have two, one for work and one for Halloween night (we usually go to a party). I am kind of a Halloween diva because I refuse to wear the same costume twice. I have my work costume all planned out (it’s kind of a secret)…I have the stuff for it so all I have to do is make it. In years past, I’ve been a priest, devil, tea party person and many other things. This year, since I’ve lost weight, I do feel the need to be a little cuter than in the past. I look at all the costumes at the Halloween store and I’ve NEVER been able to wear one…I don’t want to be quite that “revealing” but I do want to accentuate the work I’ve done…if that makes sense. So anyway, I guess I’m rambling on about this to see if you have any ideas? Have you heard of anything cute? It’s OK if you don’t have ideas…Jordan and I have decided that on Sunday, we are making our OFFICIAL decision so there isn’t much time. Ahhh! I’m kind of stressed. Anyway, that’s my plans for Sunday and then as always, I will eat dinner at my parents on Sunday night…sounds like a nice, low key weekend.

Ok-so I recently discovered Skinny Cow…

I know that some of you are already on board but until last week, I thought they were only about ice cream sandwiches and I don’t like ice cream sandwiches. Then I heard from my mom and a lady at work about some of their products so I tried one of the new (may not be that new but it’s new to me) ice cream cups…I got the Caramel Cone flavor. It was SO delicious! It was creamy and only 3 points. I’m not sure how they are so low in calories and still taste like real ice cream but me and my mom decided that it’s because it’s a small serving. I have to say though, there is something about eating right out of a carton that makes me feel good…so I like not having to scoop and when I was done eating it, I really didn’t feel cheated…it was plenty. I later found out that the Caramel Cone is the only flavor that’s 3 points…the rest of them are only 2 so I will definitely be trying those. I went on Skinny Cow’s site for nutrition facts and to look at the fudge bar my mom told me about (she said it’s delicious) and I noticed that aside from the ice cream cups, all of the other treats have Weight Watchers points listed. So-this is my official endorsement (means nothing) of all Skinny Cow products and I give them a big ‘ol thumbs up on their website. I will have to let you know what I think about the rest of the flavors…I may try the fudge bars too.

I didn’t have too much else for today…I know my blogs have been slacking lately so I will try to give them a steroid shot and give you more stories and info…I think I have a regimen now (Tuesday I talk about a recipe and Friday I talk about my weekend or something random) and that has made me become a little lazy. I apologize for that…this blog is not the only thing in my life that could use a little boost so I will start working on that.

I hope you all have a great weekend and Roll Tide!

Bye!

“I feel these four walls closing in
My face up against the glass
I'm looking out... hmm
Is this my life I'm wondering
It happened so fast
How do I turn this thing around
Is this the bed I chose to make
Its greener pastures I'm thinking about hmm
Wide open spaces far away

All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but, not feel scared

Wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind
I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love, like I'm longing to
Run with the wild horses, run with the wild horses!
Oh yeah yea

I see the girl I wanna be
Riding bare back, care free along the shore
If only that someone was me
Jumping head first headlong without a thought
To act and damn the consequence
How I wish it could be that easy
But fear surrounds me like a fence
I wanna break free

All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but, not feel scared.” Wild Horses-Natasha Bedingfield
